About us
San de Fuca is a rural community on Whidbey Island, an hour north of Seattle, WA. We are halfway between Coupeville and Oak Harbor on the northern half of the island. Coupeville is a pioneer town and the County Seat. Oak Harbor is home to Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.
The Chapel has provided ministry to this community since the 1920s and has been with Village Missions since 1989. Cliff and Casey Horr faithfully served for 26 years retiring in 2020, but still remain actively involved in the church and community. San de Fuca Chapel recently welcomed pastor Jasen Hansen, his wife Jackie, and their son Alton to the church family. We are a family here at the chapel and love to worship the Lord together and serve the community. We welcome you to join us on Sunday or one of our midweek bible studies. Please contact us if you have questions!

Keeping Country Churches Alive
We believe that the church is central to keeping a Gospel presence in rural America, impacting Christians and unbelievers alike. We exist to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital churches in rural North America and to keep country churches alive.
